The OASE BIO System Skimmer Plus 57396 is designed to compliment the already proven Oase Bio System - the only Pond pump, U.V. and filtration system with a clear water guarentee for the lifetime of your pond. Unlike many systems that are built around the skimmerfilter, the oase system is build around their legendary pumps and filters. The Bitron UVC compliments the high tec filter units and the skimmer becomes just that, a surface skimmer as the quality of Oase pumps and filters make it unecessary for any other function. So, this Oase skimmer is useful for drawing leaves, feathers and other debris off of the surface of the pond. It is very unobstrusive under its rock look cover (included with it at purchase). It also comes standard with a wide variety of connectors, adaptors and fittings to make installation of any Oase pump easy. The leaf basket is large (915 cubic inches), sturdy and easy to remove and reinstall. It has a five year warranty. Use the Oase Bio System Skimmer with flow rates between 1000 and 4200 gph. It has an 8.7 inch weir. The outlet is .75 to 1.5 inches. The skimmer demensions are 15" long x 11" wide x 12" high. It will handle a water level differencial of 3.9". Sturdy and easy to install and use. Compliments the Oase system well.
