Many people us salt in aquariums and ponds to reduce fish stress, add electrolytes, for medicinal reasons, and to aid in slime coat development.
We sell various brands of salt as it's composition is very similar. None of our pond salts have iodine (Note: most table salt contains iodine which should not be added to ponds or aquariums). . Crystal Clear is 99% pure salt made from evaporated seawater Becuase our orders ship from the location best for the particular order, and not all of our shipping locations have the same salt brands we offer a better price if we may ship either brand but you may choose a specific brand if you so desire.
