The Muck Vac is not battery or electric powered. Instead it hooks directly to a garden hose and uses a venturi to convert the pressure from the hose into suction. By this gentle suction it then draws muck and debris up a hose which then travels out of the pond. One great positive aspect of this system is that the pond does not emptly during vacuuming. The suction is not generally strong enough to bother fish and plants. On the other hand, this vacuum is not to be compared with the Pondovac 4 or Matala Pond Vac 2 for power.

The Muck Vac Cleaning System comes with cleaning nozzle and vac head with brush, a 76" aluminum telescoping pole, a ten foot debris hose, and connections. You supply a garden hose and water with at least 50 PSI of water pressure.
