ProEco Ionizer PEIO-2001
What does an Ionizer do? It provides safe and effective water clarification for ecorative water features such as pond, pondless waterfalls and swim ponds. SAFE FOR PLANTS AND FISH!
Ion generators significantly reduce maintenance and help you achieve crystal clear water without the use of chemicals. A process known as copper-silver ionizatoin, uses a low-voltage electric charge flowing thru copper, silver, and zinc, causing them to lose an electron, creating a "positive ion". The ions enter the system and have the ability to disrupt the balance of emzymes in undesirable algae growths often found in water features.
The energy efficient electronic controller allows for complete control and adjustment of the ion levels in the water feature and the ProEco Ionizers use anodes that can be easily replaced and typically last 1-3 seasons, depending on water quality and usage.
The maximum flow rate for the 2001 is 6000 gph and the unit treats ponds up to 15,000 gallons without fish, or 8,000 gallons with fish. The transformer on the 2001 is suitable for use outside. Unit is 1.5 12V and connects to 1.5" or 2" PVC. Power cord is 25' long.
